34-Queen of Wands – Reversed Golden Deck

Your Chosen Card – Queen of Wands Reversed Golden Deck

When reversed, the Queen of Wands tends to be bossy and overbearing. She likes things done her way and doesn’t tolerate much opposition to her will. Her excessive pride can result in cruelty and proneness to bearing a grudge. She tends to want what she wants when she wants it and, as a result, she may not respect the boundaries or responsibilities of a committed relationship.

Here are some snippets from a few of my favorite books

Complete Book of Tarot
Book Details
Complete Book of Tarot: The earliest Italian tarot decks varied in the number and arrangement of cards. The so-called Visconti-Sforza decks contained images of members of the wealthy Milanese Visconti and Sforza families dressed in their finest attire. The cards themselves are beautiful works of art; more than a dozen such decks can be found in various museums, libraries, and private collections around the world. These card decks may have been used to play the trick-taking game of trionfi (trumps).

Tarot Books

Complete Book of Tarot: The freeloader myth: never buy your own cards; they must be given to you as a gift.

Complete Book of Tarot: During tarot’s fortune-telling days, clients used to ask yes-no questions (Will I pass the exam?), seek to have the cards make decisions for them (Should I take the job with Edsel?), inquire about the exact timing of events (When will I get married?), spy on other people (Is my girlfriend/boyfriend cheating on me?), find out specifically what the future has in store (What will be the name of my future spouse?), or ask for medical, legal, or investment advice (Is stock in Apple Computer worth buying?). Nowadays such questions are better asked of a dedicated fortune-telling deck such as the Petit Lenormand.

Tarot Triumphs: It’s important to become familiar with the names and images of each card before trying out a Tarot divination. If they are new to you, I suggest that you get to know them all as if you were becoming acquainted with guests at a dinner party, or fellow travelers on an expedition. You don’t need to know everything about the Tarot Triumphs at this stage, but it’s crucial to be able to recognize all of them and have a sense of their key meanings. That way, your intuition can work with the card combinations because you have already absorbed the essential identity of the individual cards. You can use the illustrations in this book, your own pack, and the two sets of descriptions that I’ve given earlier to get to know the twenty-two cards. It’s good to master the numbering too if you can, but it’s not compulsory at this point. We’ll discuss the sequence of the numbers in the next chapter.
