Well-Being, Physical Health Or Mental Health:

Your health should be on the upswing. You may be helped by finding a healer who works with something besides traditional Western medicine. Don’t view this as an attempt to replace medical therapy because it isn’t. Rather it is to work in concert with it. Doctors have different views about this so if he or she tells you, for example, that it’s not possible for you to study yoga and that it would get in the way of the treatment of your condition you may be best served by locating a different medical doctor for a second opinion. Don’t ignore medical advice but do listen to your instincts about what is best for your health. Seek out mentors with more information than you have. Educate yourself as much as you can so that you can advocate for yourself.

Gaia can often signify that you are figuratively feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders, which is not an easy place to be. It’s an excellent time to review how well you do at asking for help when you need it. Remember you don’t have to do everything on your own so learn when to delegate when you can and when to ask for assistance when you can’t.

Book Details
Elements of the Psychic World: Imagery has long been considered a healing tool in virtually all of the world’s cultures. For example, Navajo Indians practise an elaborate form of imagery that encourages a sick person to ‘see’ himself as healthy. The Egyptians and ancient Greeks believed that images released spirits in the brain that aroused the heart and other parts of the body.

Elements of the Psychic World: The living earth’ theory (also known as ‘Gaia theory’) postulated by Lovelock in 1979 suggests that the earth is not simply a planet of dead rock but a living, constantly changing and evolving organism. Lovelock made a number of discoveries in the 1970s that suggested the earth was a self-regulating entity, and that homeostasis seemed to be at work. For example, the oceans contain approximately 3.4 per cent salt even though a much higher concentration should have been achieved by now, and the atmosphere does not contain nearly as much carbon dioxide as it should for a planet the age of the earth – in fact, computer calculations based on the law of thermodynamics indicate that after five million years there should be nothing much left oxygen-wise in the air we breathe now.
