Well-Being, Physical Health Or Mental Health:

Trust the wisdom of your body and of your higher power/the universe when The reversed Seven of Swords appears in the context of a health question. If you think you need more rest, then rest, even if you just got back from a two week vacation! If you feel the urge to talk to someone about your health concerns then do so. At the same time, don’t hesitate to get second or third opinions when it comes to invasive procedures.

Card Meanings: Confessing, Turning Over New Leaf, Slander, No Backbone, Dangerously Two-Faced, Being Outsmarted, Con Artist, Malicious, Blackmail, Running Away From Consequences, Ignoring Warnings, Coward, Getting Caught, Conscience Kicking In, Serial Cheat, Unworkable Strategy, Stealing Credit, Helpful, Coming Clean, Advice, Counsel, Pathological Liar

The Seven of Swords can point to someone who is behaving with less than ethical intentions. It sometimes also means prying into someone’s life where you don’t belong. If you sense that someone is spying on you, you may be right. If you are tempted to dig through someone else’s life (unless it is that of your minor child who has given you cause for concern), resist the impulse. Everyone deserves privacy.

Elements of the Psychic World: There are several different types of clairvoyance, including the ability to see auras (auric sight), to see into the past (retrocognition) or into the future (pre-cognition). Different states of clairvoyance also include the ability to see through objects (X-ray vision), the ability to see health conditions in other people or animals (body scanning), the ability to see things from far away (travelling clairvoyance), the ability to experience visions in dreams (dream clairvoyance), the ability to see things that transcend time and space (spatial clairvoyance), and the ability to see astral, etheric and spiritual or divine planes (astral and spiritual clairvoyance).

Angel Insights : The dove has more in common with angels than just its white-feathered wings. Like angels, the dove is a symbol of Spirit in many religions. In the Bible, the Holy Spirit is often described as descending to earth in the form of a dove. Many ancient goddesses, including Ishtar, Venus, and Aphrodite, are depicted with doves. And legend has it that onlookers saw a dove fly away from the stake when Joan of Arc was burned and killed for revealing that she had spoken with Archangel Michael. Today we usually associate the dove with gentleness, grace, and peace. These are also cardinal character traits of the angels, so you can be sure that if you’re encountering doves—in nature, on television, or in art—you are being given a sign from your guardian angels that you would do well to embody the peaceful, graceful, gentle essence of the dove.

Reversed Cards: One could argue that the High Priestess is an actual mirror. She has nothing but objects of reflection around her. The moon, which sits at her feet and dons the top of her head, and her dress, which becomes the water flowing behind her, are depicted clearly in Llewellyn’s Classic Tarot. Both the moon and the water are mirrors in their own rights. The moon reflects light from the sun, and water reflects whoever is peering into it. All of these reflective surfaces are one and the same when it comes to the High Priestess. It gives one pause when she shows up in her dominion here in the mirrored aspect. For if this is part of who she is and part of her true nature, then being reversed is merely just another form of her wisdom to be expressed. It is almost as if she were presenting you with an answer to a question you never asked. The answer, of course, is upside down to your current line of thinking. What is moving and what direction it is headed will bounce around on the many reflecting surfaces the mirrored priestess has at her disposal. Just keep in mind that from where you sit, left is right and up is down. This is not an easy card, and its difficulty only increases in the mirror aspect. Yet somehow it also leaves more clues than it does when we view it another way.
