Career, Work Or Retirement:

You should be cautiously optimistic when the Six of Wands appears reversed. If you are currently employed, although your work is appreciated and valued in general, there may be at least one person who for no good reason is dishonest or working against you. Open conflict is not going to help your case, this is more of a ‘kill them with kindness’ situation. If looking for work, don’t believe everything you hear. Still, your job hunt is likely to be more successful more quickly than you would expect when this card appears.

Card Meanings: Broken Promises, Pride In Riches, Failure, Fame Hungry, Egotistical, Being Hunted, Postponement, Pride Before A Fall, Treachery, Disgrace, Losing, Ill-Will, Disadvantage, Lack Of Achievement/Recognition/ Support/ Confidence/ Endurance, Diva, Disloyalty, Mob/ Pack Mentality, Bad News, Weakness, Arrogant, Being A Follower, Disappointment

The Six of Wands is a very positive omen. It can indicate that despite the challenges you are facing, you will overcome them and come out on top. This card also points toward literal or metaphorical movement; things are changing, in a positive way.

Portable Magic: In full rituals, the elemental altar has the distinction of being erected in the working space first, before any other tarot cards are laid. Symbolically, it is the zone of the four lower elements and must be created as a firm foundation upon which to build the rest of the ritual structures. It is also the elevated platform upon which the significator representing the magician resides during ritual, and so must be brought into existence before the significator can be placed.

Angel Insights : And just because the archangels have a full dance card does not mean you will get a watered-down version of their care. When you call in an archangel to help you, or when an archangel sees that you need the exceptional level of aid and expertise that they can provide and comes to you of their own accord, the energy and assistance you receive are, again, potent. Archangels are strong medicine. Archangels will stay with you as long as you have a need, often, the angels are telling me, long after you initially call upon them for assistance. They will keep working on your behalf until the job is done.

Reversed Cards: The Lovers card is in my mind one of the most misunderstood and misinterpreted cards in the tarot. For this, I blame its number association, six. Of all the cards in the tarot, the Lovers is the most romanticized. Just like a typical six, romance plays a big part in its vibration, so it is not hard to see how the lovers have been weighed down with elements that only tell part of the story. The Lovers is not so much the card of romantic love, but the card that tests your levels of commitment, loyalty, fidelity, and unconditional love. Commitment is what a six does best. It loves commitment…until it doesn’t. Then the six will run as far and as fast as possible. One could say that both the six and the Lovers can be somewhat fickle. When a six is challenged, it is because of two very distinct reasons, one being that it has overcommitted itself and created its own beast of burden. And the second is when reality has not matched up to the ideal romance inside its head. And so it is in the Lovers reversed.
