Faith, Spirituality Or Psychic Progression:

The Page definitely points to a need to honor and listen to your own intuition. Creativity may go far to enrich your spiritual experiences now. Someone that you already know may have some important spiritual insights to share. Even if you’re usually very private about such things, consider talking to a friend or two about their spiritual ‘take’ or experiences. This can be unbelievably inspirational.

Cards such as The Page very often indicate a literal person in our lives. In this case, it can indicate a female who is younger than the querent. Such people are warm, ambitious, and usually high achievers. If not a literal person, The Page of Wands indicates the energy of easy distraction. Try to stay focused.

Elements of the Psychic World: As his research developed and the evidence stacked up Hamilton broke his silence and began to speak about it in public and publish articles in Spiritualist publications. His only book, Intention and Survival, was published after his death and the title expresses his belief that communications via séances provided evidence of survival after death.

Tarot Card Meanings: Page of Wands; beginnings of journeys, projects, relationships or the bringer of news.  This card represents youth and the journey into adulthood.  It can represent a time of excitement but one darkened by conflicting emotions and uncertainty;  Reversed; lack of confidence, fear of the unknown.

Tarot Triumphs: When I first began researching the origins of Tarot imagery many years ago, I was astonished to find that this image of a turning world appeared in medieval art in a form known as ‘Christ in Glory,’ or ‘Majesty,’ as it is commonly entitled. But instead of the dancer, as depicted here, it shows Christ enthroned at the center of the world. Both versions, however, are surrounded by the symbols of the Four Evangelists: ox, lion, eagle, and angel.66 The Tarot Triumph seemed an audacious substitution, especially since the dancer is a naked young woman draped only with a flimsy scarf, which if anything heightens her charms rather than covers them. However, there is another way of looking at this, I discovered. This Tarot image could have been perceived, in Renaissance times especially, as the anima mundi, or the world soul. This is a way in which Neoplatonic teachings could be understood within the Christian framework of the time, and an image that combined the two might have been acceptable even to more conventional minds.

Reversed Cards: Let’s say for a second that the scene we are looking at on this card has been inflicted upon the woman. Someone else has placed her in the position against her will. Follow this through to its logical conclusion. If this is the case, why is she still there? There is obviously no one there to stop her from leaving. The swords themselves don’t block her, and her ropes don’t seem too tight. Why does she stay? As a point of reflection, consider this: Why do you stay in situations and conditions that bind you? For here in the mirror aspect, she is reflecting something present in your life. How does this illusion of being stuck serve you?
