However, you should consider the depths of your commitment to equality in these and whether or not you are being treated as an equal by your partners. If you are not, it may be time to bring things back into balance. This will almost certainly require open communication on your part. Nothing changes without effort.

The card itself alludes to not being able to use our eyes or at least to a lacking in the sense of visual sight. The Two of Swords, regardless of how you hold it, is not about the external world.
