Romance, Love Or Relationships:

When The reversed Chariot appears, you may have come to the conclusion that you have met someone very special and that you need to push hard to get into this relationship or vice versa, you are feeling as though you probably need to get out of one. In reversal, there is a signal here that you should temper either impulse, especially that of pursuing a new relationship too enthusiastically. There is a reason why they say good things come to those who wait. Do not be afraid to wait!

Card Meanings: Lack Of Direction, Unsuccessful, Lack Of Self-Control, Coercion, Aggression, Vanquishment, Failure, Forcefulness, Defeat, Powerlessness

The Chariot indicates a lot of energy but not free-for-all energy. It’s directed, controlled, and has a goal in mind. When this card appears you are likely to be fairly clear on what your hopes and dreams involve and what you are willing to do to make them come true.

Tarot Card Meanings: The Tarot; mysterious, esoteric and with an uncertain history.  Tarot cards appeared in Europe, as far as most sources can tell, sometime in the 14th century.  Where exactly they came from is uncertain with some sources suggesting they arrived via Egypt and others via Spain.  Whatever their route they seem to have come from the East, possible with origins in India or China.  Their arrival on mainland Europe coincides neatly with that of the first documented bands of ‘gypsies’, a word that has its own (incorrect) associations with Egypt.  Some scholars of the esoteric have suggested that the Tarot cards have links to ancient Egyptian religions.  However, it seems likely that the cards have links further afield and that it’s likely that groups of Roma gypsies encountered them on their own journeys from India to Europe.

Angel Encyclopedia: 3 Enoch begins with Rabbi Ishmael’s arrival at the seventh palace in the seventh heaven; there is no explanation as to how he makes his ascent. He prays to God the Holy One that Prince Qaspiel, an ANGEL OF DESTRUCTION, and the angels with him will not cast him from heaven. God summons Metatron, Prince of the Divine Presence, to come to his aid. Metatron takes him to the camp of the SHEKINAH and presents him to the throne of glory so that he can behold the chariot. But the princes of the chariot—the SERAPHIM, CHERUBIM, and OPHANIM,—fix their fiery and disapproving gaze on him and Ishmael shrinks back in terror, stunned by the brilliance of their faces and the radiance of their eyes. God rebukes the angels and tells them to hide their eyes, calling Ishmael his beloved friend. God opens the gates of Shekinah.
