Finance, Money Matters Or Debt:

The reversed Seven of Pentacles is a signal that you should get precise and specific about your financial goals. ‘To have a comfortable retirement’ is not a clear goal. ‘To have $three,000 per month to live on every month until I am 100,’ is more the sort of thing. Think ahead.

Card Meanings: Investments, Lack Of Growth, Frustration, Not Putting Effort In, Lack Of Reward, Not Taking Stock, Impatience, Aimlessness, Not Finishing What You Started, Cash Flow Problems, Delay, Waste, Workaholic, Slow Progress, Procrastination, Lack Of Reflection, Postponed Retirement, Laziness, Setbacks, Bad Business/Financial Management

The Lord of Failure is an ‘ouch’ card, as I said in our first examination of it. It often comes up to mark difficult days where excessive demands are made upon us financially. As with so many of the tarot cards, the resolution of problems indicated by this card lies in our own hands. Once again, we are reminded that we get back what we put out – so we must re-examine our personal attitudes about finances, material success and security when this card comes up. If it appears to mark a time where we are in financial difficulties, we must first look at what we’re REALLY thinking. Remember…what you put your attention on grow bigger. So, if you’re worried about your overdraft, what’s going to happen? The overdraft gets bigger, and you continue to feel beleaguered by money problems. So instead you have to, by an effort of deliberate will, put your attention on your income, upon the funds you have available to you. They should then respond to your effort and grow bigger.

I know this sounds too simple to be true, but it’s not as easy as it seems. It’s hard to surrender the worry and fear that comes with being in money trouble. It’s hard to let go of the survival fears that inevitably arise when you’re going through a tight patch. So the struggles you go through in giving up those negative thoughts, the attention you must pay to your every waking concern in order to make sure you send positive thoughts into the Universe, these will cost you a lot in terms of self-discipline and determination. It’s this effort that will be rewarded by an increase in funds, or a lucky break. Try it and see!! If, on a day ruled by this card, you have no pressing financial concerns, then for one thing celebrate your current good fortune (best done by passing a little of your wealth to some-one who needs it more), and check over your attitudes to success and failure in a material sense. Make sure nothing sneaky has crept into your head since last you ran a quick assessment. If you find anything, deal with it. And if you don’t, make a mental note to run the same check next month!!

The Truth of All That Is
Book Details
The Truth of All That Is : Whatever you need to bring you joy is important to us, and to others. Remember, the universe has plenty, and resources are infinite. You truly can have all you desire. Wanting more is not greedy, if you share, and give others that of which you have. You may want a lot of money, rather than just enough, and that is okay. We do not judge, and you can have as many wishes as you want, to keep you satisfied; but, when they arrive, remember to be thankful and share joy to those around, as well.

Try our Love Horoscopes: Libra and Sagittarius

Reversed Cards: The Seven of Pentacles in the mirror aspect reflects our level of attachment to our material world. If you are impatient, forceful, and controlling, this card will be uncomfortable regardless of its orientation. If you are inflexible and deeply attached to the outside world, then patience is not going to be your strongest asset. But if you can learn to understand the growth cycles of the physical world, you will understand when it is time to leave something be and walk away. Now is the time to focus your attention elsewhere and start another project, as this current one is now able to take care of itself.

Tarot Triumphs: And so my involvement with divination grew, from childhood games to a serious interest in Tarot and astrology. I have read cards and horoscopes over many decades, and for a while I was a professional astrologer with a practice and even a sun sign column of my own (the latter rather against my better judgment, since sun sign columns are huge generalizations compared to the complexity of the individual horoscope). I do Tarot and astrology readings sparingly now; there is a natural evolution in our interests, and mine are focused more at present on distilling the experience of divination and seeing how it may be set within the nature of consciousness and be a part of our hidden potential. In this book, I hope to bring together the best of both worlds: the practical, experiential approach to divination, combined with the wider context of spiritual understanding, as they are linked together through the powerful images of the traditional Tarot cards.

Reversed Cards: The Empress is the great manifestor, and she sits in the empire’s largest manifestation garden, which means she has a lot to teach you about your own smaller manifestation garden. Now, I am not saying you can’t have something as big as hers—sure you can. But only once you become the master of your own small patch of vibrational magic. So as you gaze into your Empress card and wonder at all that grows around her, tell me, can you see anything similar around you? As you gaze into her eyes and look at her confident face, do you feel as if you are looking into a mirror or something totally foreign to you? The Empress has a gift, a natural talent to tend things and make them grow. She does so with love and never doubts that things will end up exactly as they should be. Can you say the same? Is your garden full of live, vibrant blooms or dead plants, overgrown flower beds and weeds? The Empress is showing you potential, the creative spark to bring forth all that you desire. Are you ready to get your hands dirty and start tending to your garden?
