Faith, Spirituality Or Psychic Progression:

Know that you have the answers that you need inside already. Time spent in quiet and in meditation will be helpful. If you still need direction, ask spirit and the universe for signs and signals. These can be as subtle as repeatedly seeing a phrase or hearing a song. You are not kept down unless you allow yourself to be kept down.

When the Eight of Dynamism appears, you may be holding yourself back because you fear moving into the future, or because you are wary of getting hurt by a new situation, or maybe for no reason at all. Think through what it is that you’re afraid of. The truth of the situations are probably much less frightening than your mind is making it out to be.

Psychic Abilities : If you have no experience with psychic behavior, it is very easy to confuse a physic awakening with a spiritual awakening. In order to understand what is happening to your body, but mainly your mind, you will need to gain a quick understanding of the difference between the two.

Portable Magic: The cards that are to form the structure of the ritual are selected before beginning. The ritual should be completely planned out and understood before it is undertaken so that the cards may be laid with confidence and no hesitation. All cards are prepared face up, and are laid in the ritual face up. Separate them into stacks in their correct sequence the Aces of the altar, the trumps of the zodiacal circle, the trumps of any planetary modifiers that you intend to use, the trumps of the triangle of realization, and the number card or cards that are to be placed on the triangle.

Portable Magic: Tarot magic uses single cards as points of focus. They act as vessels to hold the light of consciousness of the magician as it shifts from card to card during the ritual, and by their nature define where and how the force of the will is projected to accomplish the ritual purpose. Consciousness can only occupy a single point at any moment, and the mind can only hold a single thought at any one time. By changing the awareness from one card to another, a movement and direction is given to the will. The most important single card is the significator of the magician, which occupies the altar at the centre of the ritual circle. It is home for the point of view and self-identity of the magician, as well as the symbolic centre of the universe during the ritual.

Tarot Triumphs: If we look again at the patterning of the layout, we can find two more triads, facing left and right, with the cards in the vertical center line partaking of both. These triads are closely associated with the idea of time and also show the unified sense of time governing the whole reading. This center line is the now, the temporal aspect of our lives running from past to present to future. From the standpoint of now, we can look both backward as we remember and forward as we project into the future. But the top and bottom cards of the reading, where these two triads conjoin, also indicate that there are factors that stand beyond the normal flow of chronological time. Usually, in a reading the question or situation does not cover a very long period of time—a few years at most—so we don’t have to dig too deep to understand how two Tarot symbols may represent the essence of this entire time span. For instance, if the Lover sits at the top of the reading and the Devil at the bottom, then it is clear that for the entire time span of this reading the querent has been almost literally stuck on the horns of a dilemma. And if the rest of the spread indicates that this is indeed a difficult situation, then the Tarot reader might look for ways in which this tension can be released: how to act so that the arrow is finally fired and the decision made, and how to dismiss the Devil from his over-exalted perch in the person’s psyche, where he perhaps represents domination by guilt or past obligations.
