Career, Work Or Retirement:

No matter what the configuration is of your working life (working for yourself, working at a job, etc.) it is tremendously important when you pull The reversed Knight of Pattern that you do your best to appear focused, hardworking, and methodical about your work. Slacking off now for any reason can create a major loss in your life work-wise. Pay attention.

Card Meanings: Disloyal, Ultra-Conservative, Unskilled, Boring, Unreliable, Pessimistic, Broken Promises, Not Finishing What You Start, Impatient, Obstinate, Deadbeat, Lazy, Irresponsible, Apathy, Carelessness, Weak, Standstill, Unstable, Lack Of Common Sense, Unconscientious, Obsessed With Money/Materialism/Looks, Loser, Workaholic, Gambler

The Knight of Pattern points to messages, often with regard to money and finance. You are likely to finally receive news that you’ve been waiting on, and this news is likely to be good. This card is a very practical card. The news in question is unlikely to be that you’ve won the lottery.

Portable Magic
Book Details
Portable Magic: Square aspects, in which two modifiers are placed at 90′ from each other on the circle, with two empty signs between them, are generally not helpful, unless you deliberately seek to sow discord. Similarly, Opposition should be avoided between two modifiers unless you want to create tension. By contrast, trine aspects, in which two modifiers are placed at 120′ from each other with three empty signs between them, result in the energies of the two planets working in harmony, as do sextile aspects, in which modifiers are placed at 60′ from each other with one empty sign between them. These are the most important of the aspects. It may happen that two number cards used on the triangle have the same planet ruling their decanates. The single planetary modifier will then serve to represent both of them, and the harmony of their working will be perfect.

Reversed Cards: The Justice card shares attributes with her sister card, the High Priestess. They both seek solitude and a deeper understanding of their own inner beliefs. Here in the protection aspect, Justice believes now is the time for you to seek your own counsel. To go within and fortify your own truth. When your inner truth is strong and steady, then nothing in the outer world can shake it. Strengthen your heart’s desire about how you wish to resolve a situation or problem. Make sure you are being totally honest with yourself about why it should be that way, and take time in meditation to see it done, complete, and final. When you know that the outcome is fair for all, your scales will stay balanced and your integrity intact.

Tarot Triumphs: So, my advice is to cherish what experiences and knowledge you may acquire in this way. They form the basis of your own story with the Tarot. Each person’s story, though, is different, tempered by individual destiny and life circumstances. And as I tell you my own story here, perhaps a little sympathetic magic will come into play and help to trigger special Tarot encounters and illuminations for you too.

Tarot Card Meanings: However the cards arrived, who brought them and what their origins are, they have long been associated with fortune telling and the art of divining the future.  Our modern playing cards have evolved from the Tarot which were, in their early days in Europe, identified as much with card games as any form of fortune telling.  Even today, card games using the Tarot deck remain popular in many parts of Europe, particularly in southern and central European countries.
